Please be advised that the Richmond County Clerk’s Office will begin strictly enforcing the New York City Department of Finance’s rules and regulations regarding the preparation and submission of NYC-RPT Forms, effective October 1, 2026.
Beginning on that date, deed submissions that do not comply with the following requirements will be returned for correction:
- All NYC-RPT Forms must be prepared and printed directly from the New York City Department of Finance ACRIS website.
- Handwritten changes or edits are not permitted on completed NYC-RPT Forms.
- If a correction is needed, it must be made within the ACRIS system, and the NYC-RPT Forms must then be re-printed for submission with the deed.
To help avoid delays in recording, please ensure that all NYC-RPT Forms submitted for Richmond County transactions comply with these requirements.
ECB Amnesty Program
New York City is also offering a temporary program for resolving eligible Environmental Control Board (ECB) judgements at reduced amounts.
This program is administered y the Department of Finance and runs from October 13, 2026 through January 10, 2027.
